Born Brady Robinson in the quiet town of Falmouth, Trelawny on Jamaica’s north coast, Jahbradez grew up in Trelawny on Jamaica’s north coast, Jahbradez grew up a country youth with music in his spirit and rhythm in his hands. At just eight years old he found his first stage behind a drum set in the local church band, where the pulse of gospel and community laid the foundation for the conscious sound he carries today.

After high school, JahBradez set his sights on Kingston’s renowned Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. His first audition was met with rejection—but instead of turning away, he took it as a challenge. He returned the following year sharper, more focused, and was accepted. That moment marked the beginning of a deeper journey into music and self-expression.

While studying jazz and popular music at Edna Manley over the next four years, JahBradez immersed himself in Kingston’s vibrant musical landscape. Surrounded by like-minded musicians and inspired by the enduring message of roots reggae, he began shaping a sound grounded in musicianship, culture, and consciousness.

In 2007, he co-founded the roots reggae band Pentateuch with close friends, serving as both drummer and backing vocalist. The group quickly built a loyal following with their powerful live performances and authentic sound, leading to the release of their album Genesis and a series of singles that resonated strongly with reggae audiences worldwide. Pentateuch’s rise carried them to major stages across Europe and the United States, performing at some of the world’s largest reggae festivals and earning respect within the global reggae community.

Through years of touring and studio work, JahBradez has also shared stages and collaborated with some of reggae’s most respected voices, including Koffee, Jo Mersa Marley, The Mighty Diamonds, Duane Stephenson, Lila Iké, and EarthKry.

Today, stepping forward as Jahbradez, he carries the same spirit that began in that small church band in Trelawny—music rooted in truth, upliftment, and unity. With the heart of a drummer and the voice of a conscious messenger, JahBradez continues to build his place in reggae, delivering songs that speak to the struggles and strength of the people.
